Check Email Using Webmail

Webmail is a way of accessing your mailbox using a browser which therefore means that you can check and send email anywhere you have internet access using a browser.

While it is possible to connect to webmail by using https://www.your-domain.com:2096 or https://www.your-domain.com/webmail because we force all connections through cPanel (which includes webmail) to be via a secure (https) connection, you will get a security warning message if you connect this way unless you have your own SSL certificate installed.

We therefore always recommend using https://serverXXXXX.havenswift.co.uk:2096 (where the XXXXX is a 5 digit number indicating the server that your account is hosted on - this can be checked by logging into your cPanel account and checking the details in the General Server Info box.

At the prompt box which comes up, the user must enter the following:

User Name: the full email address (myemail@domain.com)
Password: the password for the email account in question
