Straightforward cPanel hosting on well maintained servers, supported by the people who run them. Suitable for most websites, from a single brochure site to a busy WordPress installation.
We do not oversell. Servers are loaded to a level that leaves headroom, because a cheap plan on a server carrying too many accounts is not cheap, it is slow.
Support is answered by administrators. The person replying to your ticket has access to the server and can look at the actual problem.
We keep things patched. Operating system, control panel and PHP, on a schedule, without you having to ask.
We tell you when you do not need to spend money. If a bigger plan will not fix your problem, we will say so.
For most sites, yes. It is the right answer for brochure sites, blogs, small business sites and the majority of WordPress installations.
You will want something else if you run a busy shop, need root access, or have an application with unusual requirements. In that case look at our servers, or talk to us and we will point you at the right thing.
If you are moving from another host, migration is free and we handle the DNS planning so the switch does not cost you any downtime.
Hosting plans are usually compared on disk space and bandwidth, which are the two things that matter least. Almost nobody runs out of either.
What decides whether your site feels quick is how much CPU and memory are genuinely available when your visitor arrives, and that depends entirely on how many accounts the host has put on the server. It is not a number anyone advertises, which is why we mention it: a plan that looks identical on paper can be several times slower in practice.
The other half is your own site. A WordPress install with thirty plugins, images uploaded straight from a camera and no caching will be slow on any hosting. If your site is slow and you are not sure why, ask us before upgrading. We can see what is happening on the server, and quite often the answer costs nothing.
Migration is free and we do it regularly, including from hosts who make it awkward.
The process is the same every time. We copy the site across and get it working on our servers, you test it properly on a temporary address, and DNS changes only when you are satisfied. Because the old site stays live throughout, there is no window where your site is missing, and if anything is wrong we simply have not switched over yet.
We plan the DNS change so that the switch itself costs no downtime. If you have email on the domain we handle that as part of the move, since email is where badly planned migrations usually go wrong.
Can I host more than one site? That depends on the plan. Tell us how many domains you have and we will tell you which one fits.
Do you support the PHP version my application needs? Almost certainly. You choose the version per account, so an older application does not force the whole server back.
What happens if I outgrow the plan? Upgrading is straightforward and involves no downtime and no penalty. If you outgrow shared hosting entirely, our VPS and dedicated servers are the next step.
Are backups really included? Yes, taken daily, and you can restore a file, a database or the whole account yourself.
