Change Store Settings Based on geoIP for CubeCart V4


This mod allows the CubeCart store owner to define country codes against each currency and language through the Admin Currencies and Languages programs and then visitors coming from one of the defined countries (based on GeoIP determination) can have their default store currency / language changed. For example, it is possible to define a list of countries against the Euro currency and any visitor coming from one of those countries will see store prices in Euros even if the default currency for the store is GBP.


The mod then allows the store owner to configure various settings within their CubeCart V4 General Settings area that control how this mod works. Currently configurable are the currency and the language that a site visitor will use during their time in the store. Each setting can be configured independently and can be set to Disabled (when the store default setting will always be used), Automatic (The setting is changed automatically based on the visitors geoIP country) or Popup (A popup window is shown to the visitor saying that the system has detected that the visitor is from XYZ country and would they like to change their settings. If they answer YES, then the relevant settings are changed and if they answer NO, then they will use the store default settings)


The script is licenced and is also encoded with ionCube so this is required on your server for it to function but this will already be available on the vast majority of CubeCart installations.
