CubeCart V4 (CC4) Mods

This mod allows site owners to place a slideshow module featuring up to 30 different products in various places within the store although the most common place is at the top of the homepage.

Within the slideshow box itself, the price (and any sale price if set) along with the description and a thumbnail image are displayed. The customer can either click on the product image or the name to be taken to that product page or alternatively can add the product directly to their cart.


The slideshow is extremely configurable with the height and width being changeable to fit your CubeCart skin, the background, header bar and text colours are also configurable and have very easy to use colour pickers.


The style of the slideshow is highly configurable with 28 different slide effects and 31 different easing methods available to be chosen. Combine all these possibilities with also being to set the slide and transition speeds, it enables the site admin to choose exactly how they want the slideshow to appear on their site. In addition, it is also possible to choose to use the store's featured products or products from a specific category. Pagination can also be switched on or off to allow the website visitor to go directly to a specific product without waiting to go around the loop.

This mod works in conjunction with the Havenswift Hosting Email Template and Throttling Mod for CubeCart V4 and allows a visitor to register their email address if a product is out of stock and they want to be notified when it comes back into stock via a link on the product page. In the admin side, when the stock level of a product is changed from 0 to any number greater than this, emails using a selected template layout are sent to all email addresses that had registered.

This mod enables coupons to be added to the cart that will give a variable percentage discount based on the number of qualifying items from specific categories that have been added to the basket.


For example, discount coupons can be setup to give a 10% discount if two items are bought, 15% if 3 items are bought and 20% if 4 or more are bought. Which categories qualify for the discounts can be chosen and it is possible to determine if sale items are included or not as qualifying items and also whether they are given this further discount

This mod enables a percentage surcharge to be added on a per category basis whenever one or more products are added to the shopping cart from specified categories.


For example, category A could be set to a surcharge percentage of 20% and category B set to 15%. If an order consists of products only from category A, then a line with a 20% surcharge would be added in the shopping cart. If an order consists of products from categories A and B, then the surcharge would be calculated at 20% of the total of the products from category A plus 15% of the total of products from category B

This mod allows the CubeCart store owner to define country codes against each currency and language through the Admin Currencies and Languages programs and then visitors coming from one of the defined countries (based on GeoIP determination) can have their default store currency / language changed. For example, it is possible to define a list of countries against the Euro currency and any visitor coming from one of those countries will see store prices in Euros even if the default currency for the store is GBP.


The mod then allows the store owner to configure various settings within their CubeCart V4 General Settings area that control how this mod works. Currently configurable are the currency and the language that a site visitor will use during their time in the store. Each setting can be configured independently and can be set to Disabled (when the store default setting will always be used), Automatic (The setting is changed automatically based on the visitors geoIP country) or Popup (A popup window is shown to the visitor saying that the system has detected that the visitor is from XYZ country and would they like to change their settings. If they answer YES, then the relevant settings are changed and if they answer NO, then they will use the store default settings)

This mod adds a new option to the "Your Account" functionality and is similar to the "Order History" but instead lists all digital products from orders that are at "Order Complete & Dispatched" status. The mod is aimed at stores that sell digital products like e-books, video or audio downloadable files and provides for logged in customers a "Bookshelf" of purchased items and the product name is a hyperlink allowing the download of the digital file again. On entering the "Bookshelf", the number of downloads and the expiry date are reset, making all digital purchases always available.


Some of the code is licenced and also encoded with ionCube so this is required on your server for it to function. It also requires the Havenswift Hosting Supplier mod to be installed as this records the Author (for books) or Artist (for video or audio).

This mod allows the admin user to define email template layouts that can currently be used within the standard CubeCart Customer Email program and also the Havenswift Hosting Back in Stock Notification mod The templates are designed using the fckEditor and can include {tags} that can be used to substitute relevant customer data. There is also the facility to define that a certain number of emails can be sent followed by a pause of X seconds. This functionality is crucial for many stores where their hosting company limits the number of emails that can be sent per hour

This mod replaces the current Add Order screen in the CubeCart Admin Orders module. This allows you to do wildcard searches for a customer based on Surname, Company Name and various address details and also for the Product based on the Product Code or Product Name. It will also calculate the shipping and tax costs for the order based on the settings within the store.

This mod adds a supplier maintenance option as well as the ability to allocate a supplier and cost price to each product. The main functionality though adds a new option to the Admin Orders screen which if chosen for a specific order, displays all of the suppliers for the products on that order and allows an email to be sent to the supplier. This email is effectively an order from the shop owner to their supplier asking them to deliver the products stated directly to the customer and is therefore extremely useful in a drop-ship setup. Emails to be sent can be selected by supplier and can be resent. A full history of emails sent is also displayed
